I called you beautiful because that’s exactly what you are. Acne can make you feel so unattractive, depressed, anxious and unhappy. Trust me, I know. But you are beautiful no matter what is going on with your skin right now and I am here to help you get your clear skin back.
Here is my story
So, I’m sure you sometimes feel like you’re limited to living life to the fullest and do the things you love like travel, meet new people or even interact with the ones you already know because of the condition of your skin.
You feel held back. It’s almost as if you wish you could clear your skin out within minutes, so that you can enjoy your life again.
But I want you not to give up, okay? I know it’s frustrating trying out every single acne product on the market that promises clear skin, and be highly disappointed because nothing is working. I’ve been there too.
How acne affected my life
One major thing that I can remember from having acne is that it made me feel very unattractive. In fact, I actually just wanted to isolate myself until I could have clear skin again. But like you guessed, it’s really impossible to not leave the house because work and school must go on.
I’m sure you can remember a time when you had acne-free skin and you would put on make to enhance your beauty, right? Well, the opposite happened for me when my skin broke out. Makeup became a huge part of my life because it helped me cover the big and often painful pimples around my chin, jaw line and forehead area. I bet you’re nodding in agreement as you’re reading this because that’s exactly where you are right now.
Honestly, the acne that’s covering your face can take a negative toll on your self-esteem, eating habits (developing eating disorders) and relationships. In my case, I started eating less and would find comfort in things like sweets, which we all know is one of the main culprits in worsening acne. I really felt stuck and alone.
• I avoided friends and those who knew me
• I couldn’t look myself in the mirror
• I covered my face with hair and makeup to hide my problem areas (this was extreme, I know).
• I didn’t feel comfortable having face to face conversations with friends and family
In the end, you don’t know what to do or what can work because you’re in a constant battle with your skin either being too oily or dry.
What didn’t work
Let’s face it now,
When you have a problem like that, you are looking for quick fixes so that you can get on with your normal life. Every time you look for a solution on the internet, you are bombarded with a lot of information which leaves you more confused than you initially were. What do you do then?
Allow me to point out something very important that actually didn’t work for me. Since I realized that my face was getting worse, I stocked up on a lot of chemicalized products. I’m talking things like:
• face wash
• mud musk
• gel and others
But these things didn’t help me at all.
Why don’t chemicals work?
A tip for having a naturally clear skin is to avoid fixing symptoms with harsh products.
The simple reason is that you are trying to fix the leaves of a tree because they have suddenly turned yellow and forgetting the root cause all together. Chemicals are like that.
For me, my skin would get worse and be so irritated the next day whenever I would do that. Acne is an internal problem and only comes out as an indication of what is going on with your health inside. It only persists if not taken care of in the right way.
That is why makeup and other chemicals can reduce the appearance of acne for a while but it’s never a permanent solution.
Personally, I had no idea that my bad health habits were the core cause of the condition of my face. Doing little things like cleaning up your eating habits, getting rid of chemicals, having more sleep and exercising can make a huge difference , and aid in naturally healing your body.
These overlooked factors can not only repair your body but give it a play ground to fix itself. When the inside starts to receive care, it becomes evident through your glowy skin and healthy body. This is what we all want but it starts with taking action in the right direction. Your willingness to invest in yourself can change your life in more ways than one.
How living a healthier lifestyle changed my life
About 2 years ago, I had cystic acne and absolutely thought it was the end of the world for me (how dramatic, right?) Not only that, my appearance was important to me as it is to you and that affected my self-esteem as well as how I interacted with others.
It felt so uncomfortable to see people look at me. So I then decided to put on more makeup which was a bad idea to start with because my face couldn’t breathe under all that foundation. I really suffered the consequences because my face would always be red and sensitive right after.
I developed social anxiety and honestly didn’t want to leave my house, but I had to force myself to. I know some of you have gone through a lot when it comes to your skin but not to worry, you’ve come to the right place. I’m so glad I can be of help to someone like you.
Sometimes , it felt like the acne on my face had put me in prison because that’s all my mind was consumed with. All I wanted was the quickest and easiest cure.
What if I told you that working from the inside out is how you can naturally clear your skin? And no, I won’t end there since you have that knowledge already. Real change for me came when I decided to try something different that was natural with long term or permanent results. That was it!
Today, I’m much happier, healthier and my skin has made a 360 degree turn toward the right direction.
The solution was that I consciously made the decision that I would stay away from chemically processed foods in order to start healing my skin and body. I now feel confident and beautiful after a long time of feeling uncomfortable around people.
What are the benefits of eating healthy?
The best benefit of eating healthy is not only to clear acne on your skin but the overall health you get.
By doing that, you will have a story to tell others and be able to help them out.
This process seemed impossible for me but I did it anyway since I was desperate to have my skin clear again. In the same way, you can too. You can get back the beautiful you back and it’s not impossible.
I didn’t see myself doing these things back then, now here I am in a place where I can help you do the same.
So I want to be your friend and help you clear your skin naturally. I say naturally because it is the only way to get permanent results and never having to worry about it coming back.
