Thank you for being here!
I have received many emails and some of you are struggling with acne while others only want to get rid of the dark spots or scars.
Whatever your case may be, the products here have helped me a lot.
So, have a look
Here, I have the privilege to share with you some of the products I have found to work. These are my recommendations and I’m confident they will help you.
When it comes to finding a great product that works, it is a jungle out there, right?
You need some natural alternatives to the chemical ones that have left your skin worse.
I have found these products to be helpful.
Papaya enzyme powder
Does exfoliation help acne? One way to clear your skin is by exfoliation. It comes in a powder form and what I love about it is that it is 100% natural. Instead of mashing up the fresh papaya which can get messy sometimes, this one does the trick. You can just mix it with any carrier oil like argan oil, or hemp. Check out this article on papaya enzymes and its benefits.
Another good idea is to add essential oils to the mix for added healing benefits.
Manuka honey is great as a DIY face wash but I know that you might want to leave this for a later stage because it comes at a price. If you can afford it, the benefits are worth it.
A good alternative is using smooth raw and organic honey, it’s great too.
This oil really leaves your skin well moisturized. I have normal skin, so I can play around with pretty much any oil but Argan oil leaves your skin happy. You can mix it with Aloe vera gel and lavender essential oil to get a great moisturizing lotion for yourself.
You can get Jojoba oil from your local organic food store or body shop but it has to be the right one. Here is what I found to be cold pressed and organic on Amazon.
Aloe vera gel
Earlier in my journey, I learnt how to moisturize properly so that my skin could get enough moisture. Aloe vera gel is one that you need because oil alone is very drying and true moisture comes from water. This is where it comes in handy. It contains 99.75% pure organic aloe vera gel and it’s cold pressed.
Support your liver, gut and hormones with a little help from supplements.
Giving your liver and gut some extra help can be just that breakthrough to clearing your skin. After you have changed your eating habits and gone all natural but you still breakout here and there, try supplements.
Here are some to try;
Thorne – Liver detoxifier;
Clean up your liver to function better. This supplement has natural extracts. It contains no gluten, dairy or sugar.
This is good for clearing adult hormonal acne. The imbalance in the hormones can be due to the use of birth control pills and other factors. Taking a supplement like this can help fix it.
What are probiotics? Give your digestive system a push in the right direction. Populate your gut with good bacteria and see your health and acne condition improve.
Probiotic: Dr. Ohhira’s
This is another one you can try. The benefits of probiotics are huge when it comes to acne and clear skin.
